Homework

I decided to do a simple arts and crafts project for Lavish this weekend that I wanted to share. Bunting is super-duper easy, quick and inexpensive. All you need is fabric, scissors, a hot glue gun and rope (I used a clothes line rope).(I used quarters which already gave me lines where I needed to cut)

$20 and less than an hour later...

Voila!
Happy Fall!
And this is just the beginning of our fall window. Someone's having costumes made...

Rikshaw

Rikshaw just had a photo shoot and I couldn't help but notice new bedding in the background! I'll get the scoop and see if we can have a little trunk show sometime this fall.
(wish rolls on my thighs looked that cute...)

I love these shams and especially the quilt. Wouldn't it be wonderful to wrap up in it for morning coffee on one of these porches?

or have matching Taj quilts for these beds....

Catherine Canino

... inspired by hardware, nature, things old and new, and people with impeccable style...
We picked up this jewelry line at the New York Jewelry and Accessory show, but to me, the line has a very charming and southern look.
It's the classics, shaken and stirred just a bit... just the way I like it!

River Rocks

Just got in these beautiful hand blown glass river rocks. They are shimmery, iridescent and look different from every angle, which is why you just can't keep your eyes and hands off them! I think they are ideal for a paper weight or a treasure on your coffee table. These are rocks you don't want to skip... come check them out. They would make a great gift for you man!

New Look #1

We were busy little bees this past weekend. Fortunately all of our hard work paid off and everything looks wonderful. Here are some pictures of the front of the store... quite possibly my favorite section of the shop. Match and Juliska perfectly complement each other.
Come by this Friday from 5:30-8 for cupcakes, champagne, and 15% off all Match and Juliska!

More pictures of the rest of the shop will be up soon!

Holy Mud

Who They Are: Several years ago Holy Mud started making an authentic, all-natural sea mud mask from the Holy Land. Since then, they have introduced four more exquisite masks to be effective for any skin type:
Vitamin C Ester Mask (repair, renew, regenerate)
Dead Sea Mud Mask (deep cleansing)
DMAE Mask (firming)
Honey & Oat Mask (hydrating)
Pumpkin Glycolic Mask (exfoliating)

How it Worked For Me: I have combination/dry skin and since we live in the sunbelt, my main concern is sun damage. Therefore, I started with the Vitamin C mask. I'm not going to lie, it felt like my face was on fire for a few minutes! But the results were worth it: my skin tone looked more even and clear. A few days later I followed up with the Oat & Honey Mask to improve hydration levels. It is loaded with antioxidants and makes your skin feel so soft and hydrated. This will be a great mask for just about anyone in the winter.
My Suggestion: Your skin needs a regular blast of TLC and who wouldn't want a brighter, healthier looking complexion? At only $24 (at least 4-6 masks per jar) and taking only 15 minutes, I think they are great. For optimal results I would suggest alternating the deep cleansing/exfoliation with a repairing/firming mask if you have more oily skin. For dry skin, you can alternate with the hydrating mask. As the seasons change, so should your skincare!
Come by Lavish and request a sample!! You'll be addicted!

My Other Talent!

Bet you didn't know I could stand on my dad's shoulder's while balancing on two floats in the middle of a lake. Neither did I! So if Lavish doesn't work out for me I can consider the circus. We had a great week in High Hampton last week and I am completely renewed and ready for big and exciting changes at Lavish. My back room is overflowed with new inventory and furniture that we will be bringing out this weekend. You must come and see... it will look like a brand new store!

Sweet Caroline

Meet Caroline. A true Lavish sports model! I agree, you look pretty darn cute in your Rikshaw sunhat, but we'll have to wait for a sunny day!
Caroline is a social baby (takes after her Daddy!), so she prefers the arm out position in her Serena and Lily market sling. That way she can keep an eye on everybody and throw friendly wave when needed.

But even social babies know when it is time to take a nap!
Would love to see more happy Lavish customer's so please send me pictures to lavishapothecary@gmail.com

I spy Ben! I spy Buzz!

I love the wide grey stripes with the pop of color from the Ben bedding in this little boys room. And the plush glider with the Buddy pillow. What's not to love about this room?! Looks like all his friends are ready to hang out!

Ben 3 Piece Bedding Set, $389 (Set includes bumper, fitted sheet, and crib skirt)

Buzz... whether chillin' in the crib or digging for worms, Buzz is always along for the ride!
