Jingle Jubilee

We packed up a little bit of Lavish this past weekend and headed to Tallahassee for the Junior League's annual Jingle Jubilee shopping event. For us, this kicks off Christmas season and we will be busy little bee's until December 26th! The hot items of the weekend: Blabla dolls, our Frosted Pine winter Candle, and petite Lollia hand creams. I think our little 10 x 10 foot booth ended up looking great! I'm glad we have a full year before we have to do it again!

HELLO, Beautiful! These wonderful hand painted glasses have me head over heels! I was first introduced to the line when we went to our friends house for drinks and obviously, I couldn't live without them! I think I am leaning towards the top set, "Arabesque." What about you?!

Fall Entertaining Part 1

For all of you who read this post last year, you know that I am new fall lover.

And now that I am a new Thomasvillian, I am also a pine cone lover! And I love these Pine cone tea lights ($11 set/6) pine cone candles ($6), glass logs ($18) that we just got in. Add to your dinner table and it is suddenly fall! Happy Hangaween!

Before my older brother could say Halloween, it was, "Happy Hangaween" and that is what we have called it ever since. Well, the blabla's truly are just hanging-out, waiting for Hangaween! My little model stopped by the shop Saturday night to try on the Bink & Boo booties and I think that she liked them just as much as we did!

We just received our shipment of handmade Bink and Boo slippers. They are made of super-soft bold print fabric with bamboo/organic batting. Just perfect for this fallish weather! The best part is they are so comfy and snuggly, there is no need for socks! We have several patterns of booties, bibs, kerchief bibs, and binklet's. Too bad they don't come in my size:(

Murad Facial Event

There are vibrant, younger-looking faces in town!

Lavish shoppers enjoyed a relaxing afternoon with complimentary facial massages and skin hydration analysis by Murad's clinician Charlotte Carroll from Atlanta. pampered pooch

So I've heard that I carry THE BEST doggie shampoo. I had no clue, but I am now I am wiped out of Jack Black All Over Wash. Word is, it gives them silky soft hair and rids them of their doggie odor. I can't wait to pamper my little "Petite Perfection" tonight!

Juliska Fall 2010

Have you seen the Juliska Fall entertaining ads? They are gorgeous. I love how they mixed dainty hand-blown glass with the pewter. My eyes instantly gravitate to the hurricane vase with the apples, the masculine candlesticks, the bamboo handle pitcher, and the "Ralph Lauren" slate walls. I love to see the bamboo and delicate glass pieces transition so beautifully into the fall. Oh, and of course I love those Isabella footed water glasses! They are already on my Christmas list!

By they way, the bamboo collection is new for Juliska. I don't have these in stock, but I can gladly order some sample pieces if you would love to see them up close. As for Juliska's "pewter", it is actually their stoneware with a metallic glaze finish. It has the look of pewter, but dishwasher and microwave safe.

Trouble!

Oh dear. Look who got into my arts and crafts supplies in the back of the store. If only they could help me with my book keeping! Can't wait to see their costumes!
