Match handmade Italian pewter

I am not going to lie, it took a little while for Match to grow on me. I was big into Shabby Chic back in high school and Match always looked too "Medieval" for me. But now, Brent and I can't get enough of it! LOVE how masculine and heavy it is and perfect for entertaining. All of the engraved details were taken from antique Italian pieces. We just added the cereal bowls, ladle, and salt and pepper shakers into our personal collection. And as far as Lavish, we carry it all!! Of course we only have a small bit of the collection in the shop, but we will gladly do special orders!

Friday Night Alfresco!

This Friday night (July 3rd) will be Thomasville's first Friday shop and dine night! Shops will stay open until 8 pm! Hopefully the weather will be tolerable and perfect for a date night!!! My husband and I moved up to Thomasville for this reason...we LOVE being able to stroll the downtown and window shop after dinner! Which reminds me, has anyone seen the bats on the corner of Broad and Jackson...coming out of the Coffee Interiors building? CREEPY! Anyways, feel free to stop by Lavish with your pooches for a little treat, we would enjoy your company!!

Ohh La La!!

I have finally found the perfect summer perfume that I cannot get enough of. Tocca has done it again! Their latest fine fragrance was inspired by the love story of Italian director Frederico Fellini and Guilietta Masina. This new eau de parfum scent carries her namesake and draws from the couple's trips to the island of Corsica where the two dreamt up the director's visionary tales. Dreamy!

Top notes: Bulgarian rose, ylang ylang, green apple, and pink tulips. Middle notes: Lily of the Valley, iris pallida, vanilla orchid, lilac, and Heliotrope. Bottom notes: cedar wood, musk, amber, sandalwood.

I have been looking for a lingerie/nightie line that is flirty, flattering, but most importantly, comfy...and I have selected Eberjey! Unfortunately Americans are always on the go, which means our coffee is too! Thanks to one of my favorite leather good suppliers, we now have reusable and super chic coffee sleeves. I am so excited about this new product because 1. I've never seen these before 2. I LOVE mugs and hate using to-go cups, but now this will be fun. And 3. They are reusable!! What a Fun gift for those who seem to have everything!

Beachy

Rose City Festival 2009

The 88th annual Rose Show and Festival kicks off this evening with the Children's 31st Annual Chilren's Rose Bud Parade. I have come to Thomasville for several years to run the annual Rose City 10k ( a scenic 6.2 mile race that starts on downtown Broad Street), but the weekend of festivities include Live music downtown, parades, an orchid show, the Golf Classic Tournament, and Equestrian Dressage Show at Pebble Hill Plantation, and of course, in infamous rose show!!

You should also checkou the "Big Oak while visiting Thomasville. This is a "been there, done that" type of thing.. you don't have to stay for long!
