Hip! Hip!

What are your Easter plans? I am headed camping as soon as we can close up Lavish, then headed to Wakulla Springs with friends for the night. Thought I would leave you with these Eastery colors, my favorite colors of all! I really doubt you'll be surfing the net with this prime weather, but just in case, check out our brand new website, www.lavishthomasville.com. There are great shipping incentives, and use coupon code "LOVELAVISH" for an additional 10% savings. Have a wonderful Easter!

A good question...

"What is the shelf life of a nice (Creed) cologne?"

I had a customer as me this morning and here is the answer:

The shelf life of most perfume, from production date, and if stored properly, is a maximum of 3 to 5 years.
Perfumes with higher content of essential oils have a longer shelf life. Essential oils contain no fatty acids, and are not susceptible to rancidity like vegetable oils.
Perfumes made with quality ingredients will last longer.

It is interesting that nicer colognes, although they have less preservatives and alcohol added, actually have a longer shelf life. I've also read that your cologne does not necessarily go "bad", but the notes will change a little. You may actually like it better as it ages!

Baby Deer

This video is of my older brother, George, feeding a baby deer at my grandmother's house about 25 years ago. My grandmother always has baby animals, especially little bunnies, at her home right around Easter. Another reason I love this time of year. George, you were the cutest!
